Week 8

Hi all,
Last weekend we had a trip to Ramet Gorge. I can't say it is a place I heard before but I have to admit that it is really beautiful. Another cool thing is that it is not accessible, which has to makes one feel better about himself when making it to the end. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the end, because it started raining and the rocks became slippery, making it too dangerous to continue; but we made a promise to come back in the summer and make to the end.
We made a lot of pics you can see them here and here. From all of them I picked the following two:

Lesson learned:
- it rained, therefore I was really protective with my camera, probably too protective; also garbage bags are as good as the special camera covers (which are really expensive) - still make sure the bag doesn't make it into the picture
- I wanted to test using low apertures - which are ideal for landscapes, but than meant using long exposure times, I wanted to reduce them and I used high ISOs. Apparently this wasn't the best choice, in many of the pictures there was noise, which wasn't visible on the camera LCD, but visible on the screen.
