Linux Chrome Beta

I know, You know, everybody knows chrome linux beta is out. All Linux and Google news site says so.

But I did install it and give it a spin last evening.

I've been using Chrome on my Wingoz (a.k.a. Windows)  at work and I'm truly satisfied with it. Several weeks ago I tried Chromium, a Windows version port using wine; but that sucked big time. Not even maximize window worked. But all the problems I had with Chromium seem to work now on the official version, I even replaced my Firefox luncher with the a Chrome luncher in my Cairo-dock.

Please comment letting me know your experience with Chrome.

Have a nice day,

Dan

Chrome has more problems than other Google Beta products

I am using Chrome Beta on my Mac for 2 days now and it has some problems with maximizing pictures in contents. This I've spotted in Picasa. Also, sites like piata-az.ro get stuck for many seconds some times and other times work very fast.

I like very much how Chrome handles downloads. I hate when other windows pop-out and I have to switch focus.

All in all is a good product but it has a long road until a mature product.

I've checked browser marketshare and Chrome is close to Safari. Both have about 4%.
