On the first evening there we saw that the sunset was on the island therefor the sunrise must be from the see... Great, we asked at the front desk what time the sunrise was - and the answer was 5:30 in the morning... difficult choice but, at last, we decided to wake up in time for the sunrise:

At 5:15 we left the hotel room... it was soooo dark outside!

 This year we ended up in Greece for our holiday, on the Rhodes island. So the only way to get there was by plane. It was the first time we decided to give it a try and see how the cameras and the lenses behave when trying to shoot from the plane... 

A couple of days ago we met some of our friends, from Romania and The Netherlands :) Of course we had to take a couple of shots... no question about that. And we spend half the evening talking about photography. Which is actually quite relaxing after two full exam days...

This is our very first panorama taken on the road from Ocna Sugatas to Sighetul Marmatiei after the New Year's Eve (2009-2010)... well, I know, it looks like a picture taken during the spring but trust me, we were in the middle of the winter.

Surfing the net I came across a very interesting competition - the Democracy Photo Challenge. All you need to do in order to see the pictures and vote is go to the album and click the like button under any photography that you like:) The winning photos will be announced on the International Day of Democracy (15th of September).

Summer in the city

Tudor a redescoperit-o si  a postat-o pe facebook... recitind povestea generatiei mele mi-am spus ca e musai sa o pun undeva unde sa o gasesc de fiecare data cand vreau sa zambesc si sa-mi aduc aminte de cat de frumoase sunt fiecare din etapele pe care, vrand nevrand, le parcugem :) Si asa, ca o paranteza, de fiecare data cand ma gandesc la schimbarile prin care a trecut generatia parintilor nostri imi spun.... uauuu, daca ei au trecut prin atatea oare pe noi ce ne asteapta!!!

De multe ori primi pe mail mesaje care ne dispera... gen daca nu trimiti mai departe o sa se intample aia si aia si aia. Mesajul pe care l-am primit ieri de la un coleg nu este nici pe deaprte asa ceva, dimpotriva, e unul din mesajele care te binedispun pentru toata ziua fara sa iti ceara sa te dai de trei ori peste cap! Deci haideti sa va spun si voua povestea lui George!

Am dat cautare pe google dupa "lucruri inutile". De ce? Asta e o alta poveste pe care va voi spune dupa ce ni se termina concediul. Dar pana atunci va las sa va delectati cu un post care mie mi s-a parut genial legat de lucrurile din viata noastra.
